Helping your family explore the full spectrum of vegetables.
Looking for a great way to make eating the entire vegetable family more exciting and appetizing to your family? Just give things a splash of color!
Assign each day of the week to a color and encourage your family to eat vegetables of the same shade that day.
Giving each day a theme helps remove the shock and surprise that can come from seeing a plate full of vegetables, introduces the freedom of choice and encourages a bit of adventure. What’s not to love? Vegetables can be fun.

- For fussy eaters, add Country Crock® to any vegetable and have them prepare the ingredient-of-the-day in a variety of different ways—roasted, grilled, sautéed or even gingered.
- Make it a team effort. Since everyone has their own likes and dislikes, give your family a couple options and the freedom to choose which vegetable the family eats each day. Then, make sure to include them in lunch boxes and on the dinner table.
- When first announcing the vegetable color, describe a fun fact or two about each vegetable choice; knowing its nutritional benefits will make your family more excited about eating it. Arm yourself with facts online beforehand.
- To get them even more in the spirit, why not wear a piece of clothing that matches the vegetable color of the day?
