Apple, Nut 'N Spice Brunch Topping

Ingredients:

  • 4 Tbsp. Country Crock® Spread
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg (optional)
  • 2 tart apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 1 tsp. sugar

Directions:

  1. In 10-inch nonstick skillet, melt Country Crock® Spread with cinnamon and nutmeg over medium-high heat. Add apples, turn to coat. Cook, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes or until apples begin to soften. Stir in pecans, honey and sugar. Cook 2 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve hot or at room temperature with your favorite waffle, pancake, French toast or frozen yogurt recipe.
