Fried Biscuits

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 9 Tbsp. Country Crock® Spread, divided
  • 1/3 cup water

Directions:

  1. Combine flour, baking powder and sugar in large bowl. Add 3 tablespoons Country Crock® Spread and blend in with fingers or fork until mixture is crumbly. Stir in water with fork, adding more water as needed, to form a soft dough.
  2. Turn dough onto lightly floured board and knead gently, adding more flour as needed, to make a soft, slightly sticky dough. Pinch off about 2 tablespoons dough and roll into balls. Flatten to about 1/2 inch thickness.
  3. Melt 2 tablespoons Spread in 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium heat and cook 4 bakes at a time, turning once, 8 minutes or until golden; repeat with remaining Spread and bakes. Serve warm and, if desired, drizzled with honey.
