Combine flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt in medium bowl; set aside.
Beat Country Crock® Spreadable Sticks with sugars in large bowl with electric mixer until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla until blended. Gradually beat in flour mixture just until blended. Stir in chocolate.
Scoop dough into 2-inch balls and arrange on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake 12 minutes or until edges are slightly golden. Cool sheets 2 minutes on wire rack; remove cookies from sheets and cool completely.
TIP: Make smaller cookies-Scoop dough into 1-inch balls and bake 10 minutes. Makes 66 cookies.
