Blueberry & Lemon Syrup

Ingredients:

  • (1/2 pint) blueberries
  • water
  • Shedd's Spread Country Crock Spreadable Sticks
  • sugar
  • lemon juice
  • finely grated lemon peel (optional)
  • vanilla extract

Directions:

  1. In small saucepan, bring all ingredients to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes or until blueberries burst and sauce thickens. Serve immediately with your favorite waffle, pancake or French toast recipe.
