Honey Teriyaki Burgers

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup Country Crock® Honey Spread
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. finely chopped fresh ginger or 1/8 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 4 hamburger buns

Directions:

  1. In small bowl, combine soy sauce, sugar and cornstarch; set aside.   In small saucepan, melt Country Crock® Honey Spread over medium heat and cook garlic and ginger 1 minute. Add soy sauce mixture and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally, 1 minute or until thickened.  Remove from heat and let cool slightly.   Meanwhile, in medium bowl, combine ground beef, green onions and 3 tablespoons soy sauce mixture; shape into 4 patties.  Grill or broil to desired doneness.  Serve on hamburger buns brushed with remaining soy sauce mixture.  Top, if desired, with your favorite hamburger toppings.
