Peanut Butter Toffee Bars

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Skippy® Super Chunk® Peanut Butter
  • 1/2 cup Country Crock® Spread, softened
  • 3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 package (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup toffee bar bits

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°. Grease 13 x 9-inch baking pan; set aside.
  2. In large bowl, with electric mixer, beat Skippy® Super Chunk® Peanut Butter, Spread, brown sugar, granulated sugar and vanilla until thick and creamy, about 5 minutes. Beat in eggs, then flour blended with salt. Stir in 1 cup chocolate chips. Evenly spread into prepared pan.
  3. Bake 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from oven to wire rack and immediately sprinkle with remaining 1 cup chocolate chips. Let stand 5 minutes. Evenly spread melted chocolate, then sprinkle with toffee bar bits; cool completely. To serve, cut into bars.
