4 Granny Smith apples, cut into 1/4-inch-thick slices
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 cup apple juice
1/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
2 tsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
Directions:
In 12-inch nonstick skillet, melt Country Crock® Honey Spread over medium heat and cook apples with lemon juice, stirring frequently, 12 minutes or until apples are almost tender.
In small bowl, combine remaining ingredients and, if desired, a pinch of salt; stir into skillet and simmer, stirring occasionally, 2 minutes or until warm. Serve warm as a side dish or as a delicious topping for ice cream, waffles or pancakes.
