Whole Wheat Crostini with Cilantro-Lime Spread

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Country Crock® Spread
  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 tsp. grated lime peel
  • 1/2 tsp. hot green pepper sauce (optional)
  • 24 (1/4-inch-thick slices) whole wheat French baguette or whole grain French baguette, toasted if desired

Directions:

  1. Blend all ingredients except bread in small bowl. Refrigerate tightly wrapped until ready to use.
  2. Spread 1 teaspoon cilantro-lime spread on each bread slice.

TIP: Spread is also terrific tossed with grilled zucchini or melted on broiled or grilled fish fillets!
