Chocolate Mug Cake from Box Mix
  • 4 tablespoons boxed chocolate cake mix
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons water
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Country Crock® Original Spread, melted, plus more for brushing
  • Optional, for serving: whipped cream and sprinkles
Chocolate Mug Cake from Scratch
  • 3 tablespoons Dutch process cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon all purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons Country Crock® Original Spread, melted, plus more for brushing
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon hot water

      Instructions

      Chocolate Mug Cake from Box Mix
      1. Brush a 12-16 ounce mug with Country Crock®.
      2. In the mug, whisk together all the ingredients until smooth.
      3. Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Serve warm within 10 minutes topped with whipped cream and sprinkles, as desired.

      1. Brush a 12-16 ounce mug with Country Crock.
      2. In the mug, whisk together all of the dry ingredients, followed by the wet ingredients until smooth.
      3. Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Serve warm within 10 minutes topped with whipped cream and sprinkles, as desired.
