- 2 cups finely grated cheddar cheese

1 cup Country Crock® Original Spread

- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 18 slices white sandwich bread (firm)

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a sheet pan with Country Crock.
- To a large bowl add cheese, Country Crock, heavy cream, egg, Italian seasoning, and salt. Using a hand-held mixer, beat together until well combined
- Cut the crusts off the white bread, and then cut each slice into 4 squares. Spread the cheese mixture onto half of the bread squares, about 1 tsp per square. Top each half with 1 remaining bread square to form a mini sandwich cube. Spread remaining cheese mixture over the top and sides of the sandwich cubes. Place sandwiches 1 inch apart on the lightly greased sheet pan.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Enjoy!
you can make these cheesy bites the day before, up to and including step 3 and then refrigerate, or freeze up to 3 weeks. If frozen, pop in the oven straight from the freezer; increase the bake time by 5-10 minutes.
