Easy Pecan Tassies

Easy Pecan Tassies

We like to think of our Pecan Tassies as little bites of heaven. Whether you make our Pecan Tassie recipe for the holidays or any day, they are sure to be a favorite. Country Crock, cream cheese and flour come together to make a dough that's so easy to work with, no rolling pin needed. The classic pecan filling is a perfectly creamy-crunchy contrast to the tender crust.

Instructions

Cream Cheese Crust
  1. Preheat oven to 350°. Spray 24 cup mini muffin pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Combine Country Crock Spread and cream cheese in large bowl, add flour and mix to form soft dough. Shape into 24 balls, about 1-inch in diameter. Using your hands, flatten each ball into about a 2-1/2 inch disk. Place each disk into mini muffin pans, pressing up the sides to form a crust.
Filling
  1. Combine sugar, egg, Country Crock Spread and vanilla in medium bowl, whisk until smooth. Stir in pecans. Spoon about 1 teaspoon pecan mixture into each crust. Bake 30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 5 minutes in pan than remove Pecan Tassies to wire rack to cool completely.
