Start off by slicing the side sliced hot dog buns horizontally to make small bread-like pieces and insert a toothpick through the center of each bread slice to hold the two split pieces together. 1 hot dog bun should make about 5 slices that are 1 inch thick.
In a bowl, whisk together eggs and milk until fully combined.
Dip the bread into the mixture and coat on both sides.
In a pan on medium heat, add some Country Crock® Original Spread and pan fry each piece of bread, flipping it every 2 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.
To make the cinnamon sugar, combine sugar and cinnamon powder until fully mixed.
Add in the freshly made mini French toast right away into a bowl of cinnamon sugar and coat all sides. Set aside.
To make the maple butter sauce, in a small saucepan on medium heat, add Country Crock® Original Spread and maple syrup.
Melt, combine and bring to a boil, add in the cream and stir or whisk until fully mixed.
Cook for 4-5 minutes, until the sauce thickens and coats the back of a spoon.
Bring off of heat and let cool.
Serve the freshly made mini cinnamon French toasts with the maple butter sauce and top it with berries of your choice!
