Ingredients

  • 8 cups assorted snacks, such as mini pretzels, square crispy rice cereal, sesame sticks
  • 2 cups peanuts, or any nuts
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/4 cup Country Crock® Original Spread Original Spread
  • 3 tablespoons light corn syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups assorted Valentine's day candies

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Spray two baking sheets with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl mix the snacks and peanuts together. Set aside.
  3. Add Country Crock®, brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt in a saucepan. Set the pan over medium heat and cook until boiling. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and baking soda. Pour this mixture into the large bowl and stir well, coating all of the snacks and nuts. Transfer to the baking sheets, evenly dividing the mixture onto each.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes. Remove from oven and cool completely. Stir in candy and break any larger chunks into smaller pieces.
