  • 2 large eggs, separated
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 cup 2% milk
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup Country Crock® Spread


  1. Spray waffle iron with no-stick cooking spray; preheat.
  2. Beat egg whites in medium bowl until soft peaks form; set aside.
  3. Sift flour, sugar and baking powder into large bowl; set aside. Beat milk, egg yolks and vanilla in small bowl, then stir into flour mixture until smooth. Beat in melted Country Crock® Spread, then gently fold in beaten egg whites.
  4. Spoon batter onto hot waffle iron. Close lid and cook until steam stops and waffle is golden, about 4 minutes. Keep warm until ready to serve. Serve, if desired, with fresh fruit and maple syrup or honey.
