Nutritional Guidelines (per serving)

(Nutrition information is calculated using an ingredient database and should be considered an estimate.)

Instructions

  1. Add Country Crock® Original Spread to medium saucepan. Heat to melt. Add tomato sauce, light brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, black pepper, paprika, and salt to melted Country Crock® Original Spread and whisk together until smooth.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until it comes to boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat and simmer for 10 -12 minutes or until you get the desired consistency. Remove from heat and allow to cool. (Country Crock BBQ sauce can be stored in the refrigerated for 1-2 weeks.)
  3. Combine chicken thighs and 3/4 cup Country Crock BBQ sauce in a bowl or plastic storage bag. Refrigerate and allow to marinate for at least 1 hour and up to 24 hours.
  4. Heat the grill to medium-high. Apply Country Crock® Original Spread onto grill with cloth towel to ensure chicken does not stick to the grill. Remove chicken from bowl or bag and pat dry. Grill chicken thighs until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F. This can take between 12-17 minutes. About halfway through cooking brush chicken with more BBQ sauce. Flip chicken, and brush the other side with BBQ sauce. Serve with sliced scallions on top.
