Preheat oven to 350F.
Melt plant butter in a cast-iron skillet.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add sugar, milk, almond extract, and vanilla to the bowl, and whisk until well combined. Whisk in melted plant butter.
Pour mixture into skillet and top with plum slices. Sprinkle top with raw sugar.
Bake until top is golden brown and a tester inserted in center comes out clean, 50 to 60 minutes. Serve with non-dairy ice cream.
