Cheesy Sausage Pasta Bake

Cheesy Sausage Pasta Bake

Country Crock Original Spread shines in this pasta bake, helping to ensure you’re left with a tasty and buttery (but never greasy) result. The best part is using the same ingredients to make our Muffin Tin Mini Pizzas another night this week. Same Ingredients, two delicious meals. #MorewithCrock

(Nutrition information is calculated using an ingredient database and should be considered an estimate.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and boil the pasta around 3 minutes less than advised on the package instructions.
  3. Heat a large skillet to medium - high heat and pan fry the sausages until cooked to internal temp of 160°F. Remove the sausage from the pan and slice into 1 inch thick coins. Wipe out your pan.
  4. Add 2 ½ tablespoons of Country Crock® Original Spread chopped garlic, salt and pepper, and veggies to the pan. Sauté for about two minutes, then return the sliced sausage back to the pan and allow to cook for another minute.
  5. Add the Marinara sauce and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  6. Drain the pasta and add to the sauce, mix until it's completely coated. Transfer the pasta to an ovenproof baking dish and top with mozzarella and parmesan.
  7. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes or until the mozzarella is melted and bubbling. Garnish with basil.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
