Ingredients

Churros
  • 3 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon sugar divided
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent dough sheet
  • 4 tablespoons Country Crock Cinnamon Honey Spread
Chocolate Sauce
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon half-and-half cream
  • 2 tablespoons Country Crock Cinnamon Honey Spread

      Instructions

      Churros
      1. Heat air fryer to 325°F. In a quart sized resealable plastic bag, combine 3 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon; set aside.
      2. Unroll crescent dough and cut into 4 rectangles. Press each into 6x4-inch rectangle.
      3. Spread 1 tablespoon Country Crock Cinnamon Honey Spread evenly over 2 dough rectangles. Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon sugar. Spread 1 tablespoon Cinnamon Honey Spread on top of the 2 rectangles.
      4. Cut one rectangle into 6 1-inch wide strips. Twist each strip 4 to 5 times and arrange on parchment lined air fryer basket.
      5. Air fry 6 to 7 minutes, turning over halfway through cooking, until both sides of churros are golden.
      6. Melt remaining 2 tablespoons Cinnamon Honey Spread. Remove churros, brush with Cinnamon Honey Spread and toss in cinnamon sugar.
      7. Repeat with remaining rectangle.
      8. Serve churros with Chocolate Sauce.
      Chocolate Sauce
      1. Combine chocolate chips and half and half in microwave safe bowl. Microwave 1 to 1-1/2 minutes, checking every 30 seconds. Stir until smooth. Stir in Cinnamon Honey Spread until smooth.
      Air fryer churros are worthy of snacking on by themselves, but they can also serve as a festive topping for no-churn vanilla ice cream!
