Grilled Cheese with Marinara Dip

Grilled Cheese with Marinara Dip

Everyone’s favorite sandwich gets a tasty upgrade With this Grilled Cheese with Marinara Dip. It’s the same buttery flavor you love but with a fresh twist and yummy marinara sauce twist. It’s THE go-to grilled cheese recipe that also helps you use up the leftover jar of sauce you have sitting in the fridge, and the same ingredients as our Spaghetti with Cheesy Garlic Toasts. Same Ingredients, two delicious meals! #MorewithCrock

Nutritional Guidelines (per serving)

(Nutrition information is calculated using an ingredient database and should be considered an estimate.)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl combine the softened Country Crock® Original Spread and parsley.
  2. Spread 1/2 tablespoon of the buttery mixture on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Heat a large skillet to medium/low heat and place 2 slices of bread in the skillet with the spread side down.
  4. Add 1/2 cup of shredded Mozzarella cheese then a tablespoon of Parmesan on one piece of toast.
  5. Once the breads are golden brown, close the sandwich with the crisp sides on the outside.
  6. Continue cooking until the bread is golden brown, flipping once and pressing down lightly to help the bread stick to the cheese. Cook for about 5 minutes. Keep the heat on medium low for the bread to toast slowly, giving the cheese time to fully melt.
  7. Remove from heat, slice and serve with your favorite Marinara sauce for dipping and enjoy!
