Combine the sugar and water in a small saucepan over medium high heat, stirring occasionally with a silicone spatula for a minute, just until the sugar melts. Let cook, without stirring, until the sugar begins to turn a deep amber color and smells nutty. Take care not to let the sugar burn, as soon as it starts turning golden brown, it caramelizes quickly.
Remove the pan from heat and immediately pour in the Country Crock® Plant Cream, Country Crock® Plant Butter, and salt - whisking until smooth.
Pour caramel sauce into a small heatproof bowl and let cool completely to room temperature. It will thicken as it cools.
Drizzle this vegan caramel sauce over your favorite treats at room temperature or warm!
